Dropped Kerb and S278 Works
A dropped kerb is necessary as a crossover for cars to drive from the front of the property without causing damage to the footpath or the utilities beneath. The work is highly regulated by your local Highways Department and Council and must be delivered to their exact specifications by an approved supplier only. Our experienced in drop kerb construction will lower the Kerb and lay new foundations to meet these requirements.

Tarmac is a popular material for multiple applications, not only as being durable and cost effective, but One of the most appealing aspects of tarmac driveways is their relatively quick installation process. Unlike other materials that may require longer curing times, tarmac can often be laid and completed within a day. After a brief 2-3 day curing period, you can start using your new driveway, which is significantly faster compared to alternatives.

Block Paving
A high-quality driveway or patio can instantly improve the visual appeal of your home, creating a much more striking, inviting impression from the front of your house or providing a perfect environment in which you can relax or entertain guests in the garden. One of the best advantages of installing block paving is that it is incredibly low maintenance. Due to the nature of the material it does not require top polishing and will never need repainting in the future. Additionally, block paving can easily withstand harsh, erratic weathers, making it an ideal material for the fluctuating British weather.
If your slope drains naturally, then laying blocks should be quite straight forward. However, if there is no fall, and water does not drain easily, then it will sit just below the blocks. This will cause an uneven surface, the growth of weeds and grass, and can eventually lift the blocks from place.

A Paving Slab refers to a straight section of rock that’s applied for paving. It can be used for covering driveways, and patios on paths leading through the lawn; at car parking lots and park areas; and even on city squares; and around pharmacies, shops, office and administrative buildings, and other sites.
Paving slabs are not only quality paving products but are also affordable and extremely cost-efficient. Additionally, they are durable and can last for a long time. In short, they tick almost all the boxes for the finest paving slabs in the market today.
Brick is used untreated and is maintenance-free. Unlike other building materials, it does not need to be treated with hazardous chemicals like paint, wood preservatives, etc.
It has a very long service life and does not require maintenance, it is a highly economical building material that helps to ensure the high resale value of brick structures.

If you have a large garden, driveway or space to the side of your home, extending into it rarely detracts from your outdoor space, whilst it adds significant benefits to your indoor space. A conservatory for example, can provide another eating space and works well to showcase a garden space. Similarly, a porch would not usually take up too much space at the front of a home, but can add significant storage and security benefits.
The biggest benefit of choosing concrete for a driveway is its longevity. When properly installed, concrete surfaces can last up to 50 years with very little maintenance, which makes it an attractive investment for homeowners and property developers.
Concrete is also very good at withstanding the worst of the weather. It is less susceptible to shrinkage and expansion in extreme temperatures. There are also a number of decorative options available for concrete surfaces. For example, staining can be used to introduce colour to concrete for a unique eye-catching finish. Resin drives provide a smooth, long lasting finish with no loose stones making it ideal for all applications i.e. disabled access, pushchairs, children and bicycle.
It requires very low maintenance and minimises puddles, ice and growth of mould and weeds.
